Michael F. Holick, PhD, MD, a GrassrootsHealth D*Action panel scientist, Director of the General Clinical Research Center, professor of medicine, physiology, & biophysics at Boston Univ. School of Medicine is 2011 recipient of The Endocrine Society’s Delbert A. Fisher Research Scholar Award for his scholarly work on the history of endocrinology. Congratulations Dr. Holick!

He spoke at a news conference titled “Vitamin D: Release of the Society’s Clinical Practice Guideline on Vitamin D and breaking research on the risks of vitamin D deficiency.” You can watch his presentation at the link below.
